Plantscaping & Blooms began in 1979, when Nancy Silverman founded the company with a simple belief: extraordinary spaces inspire extraordinary moments. What started as a small family business has grown into one of the largest interiorscaping firms in the country—trusted to transform offices, campuses, hotels, and event venues across Northeast Ohio and beyond.
From the very beginning, Nancy set the tone for who we are: imaginative, dependable, and endlessly passionate about bringing nature to life indoors. That legacy remains our foundation today.

Founding the family business
Our founder Nancy started what would become Plantscaping & Blooms as a plantscaping business in Cleveland in 1979. She used her eye for design and love of plants to help businesses bring greenery and flowers in as an intentional part of their décor and interiors. Nancy immediately saw the foundation of the business would be client relationships that grew out of our expertise, passion and problem-solving.
In 1987, Nancy took on the first floral client, starting the Blooms side of our business. She designed beautiful florals for the Ritz Carlton and from there, our cut flower arrangements took off.
Todd, Nancy’s son, grew up working in the family business, and has 27 years of experience with Plantscaping & Blooms. As a Certified Landscape Professional (CLP), he brings knowledge about all phases of design and implementation and has helped Plantscaping & Blooms bring an emphasis on employee education to become and stay industry leaders in our crafts. In keeping with Nancy’s emphasis on client relations, Todd has a passion not just for plants but for our clients, and helping them transform their spaces.
